Tow Socket Cover

Hi

I never liked the design of the towing socket cover.
I always end up lying under with a coin to release clips, then I throw it in the boot until finished towing.
I modified it with a couple of stainless hinges, bumper clips and stainless clips.
Might not to be to everyone's taste but solves my pet hate.

Few pics added.

Looks a neat and tidy job that.

Does it not flap around like ba5tard when you have the towing electrics plugged into the socket underneath though?

I just took it off and left it off, same with the front recovery point cover.

I just cut out the bit that obscures the 13-pin socket, which permanently houses a 2x7-pin adaptor, and leave it on all the time. Took longer to find my hacksaw than do it.

Same here. Seems like a lot of effort for an issue I don't have.
