Towing.... with a difference

Mrs Do$h recently planted nearly £10k of yew hedging on the estate where she works. They're using a bowser for watering, and one of the staff was meant to fill up the bowser on Friday. Saturday afternoon she nips over to check and it's bone dry.

Unfortunately all the RTVs and tractors are secured in the workshop over the weekend, and the bowser has a pintle tow hitch. I've only got the removable tow bar. Confused

After a bit of head scratching, Disco3 to the rescue Thumbs Up

Those of a sensitive nature (and those who do the H&S thing) may want to look away now:

Whistle Whistle Whistle

One shackle on the recovery point, another connecting this to the bowser tow hitch, and all the others to take up the slack. Low range GGS, no problem Mr. Green

And no, none of the towing was on the public highway. Fields only Thumbs Up

Now, does anyone know of a pintle type adaptor that will work in place of the removable tow bar Confused
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Nice work Smile

Can recommend the 2" NAS receiver. I have one (RLD's adjustable tow pack uses it) - and it's come in useful for all sorts of options.

Where did you source the hitch/plate John?

I got it all as from Ray - really pleased with it. I pull quite a large (and high) trailer, and with the standard hitch, the nose would be way too low Thumbs Up
