TPMS sensor issue

Hi,

I’m getting a low pressure warning for the spare tyre, but when I switch the spare for a wheel on the car, I get the same warning, so I don’t think it’s the TPMS sensor on the wheel. Has anyone had an issue with the sensors which pick up the signals from the TPMS on each wheel, specifically the spare, and can these sensors be replaced?

When you moved the spare to one of the wheels, did you “tell” the car you had moved it?

The car should pick up the move of the wheel after you've driven it a short distance.
You can buy replacement TPMS sensors if yours is faulty.

That’s what I thought. I’ll switch it back and see if the error goes away. The spare should now be activated….
