Started up D3 this morning and put into reverse and was met with rear reversing sensor full on even though there was nothing behind me. Got out and wiped rear sensors as thought there might be some ice on them When getting back in I noticed "transmission fault" written on info display. Put into reverse again and the same thing happened.
Turned off and restarted to try and clear fault but message still there and accompanied by full on rear sensor noise when put into reverse.
Turned off ignition again and left for a few minutes. Re started and all clear. No faults found and rear sensor back to normal also. Hasn't happened since but would it be worth a trip to the dealers for a diagnostic check?
Any Clues?

Hi Ter,
These glitches sometimes occur. If you are worried, by all means take to a dealer for a diagnostic. However, what many people do is drive it for a time to see if the problem recurs.

Hi Peter,
Many thanks,
Got dealer to check diagnostics and it had not stored event as was a fault as opposed to a failure.
So just must have been one of those D3 things.
