Transmission sump gasket spray

Is there a recommended spray to hold the transmission sump gasket in place to prevent misalignment?
"Permatex 80064 High Tack Spray-A-Gasket" is recommended but can't find it in Europe/Switzerland.

Recommended by who?
The metal sump is not fitted by LR, save for the very early pre-launch builds (which would be replaced by the plastic ones during service, if required), which the bolts will prevent misalignment by virtue of passing through the gasket, plastic sumps will have the gasket fitted into the channel, so no chance of misalignment unless it's disturbed pre-fitment.

I haven't changed the sump yet. Just collecting infos for now to be sure it won't leak.
These guys from Atlantic British and some follow up vids from others found the Permatex spray quite helpful.
Because you need to twist the sump in place and the tolerance is small, the gasket may get misaligned.
Just need a recommendation on a sticky spray that does go well with the gasket.
Btw I got the 'KIT402 ZF 6 Speed Easy Fit Metal Sump Conversion Kit' from AF.

Personally i'd just fit them with a swipe of transmission oil either side of the gasket.

Thanks for your advice!
Apart from mechatronic seal, is there anything else I should replace while it's open?

Trouble is its a paper gasket so it’s not going to stay in place by itself.

Dont use the paper gasket, see if you can get a duraprene gasket instead.

+1 on not using the paper gasket

I used a metal gasket with silicone sealing edge and it worked great. I used Fel-Pro, PN: FEL TOS18753

I suggest replacing the valve body bridge seal and “tubular sleeve” valve body seals (not sure what they are formally called). These shrink and get brittle with age. When that happens they don’t seal, and then the solenoids start working harder to compensate. To replace them all you have to remove the valve body which seems more daunting than the actuality.
