I just noticed a couple of days ago that my trip computer has changed from displaying units in kilometres to miles all by itself. Stranger still, the fuel consumption reading is still in l/100km, whereas the av speed, trip and range are in miles.
Any idea how to change it back? Checked the manual and looks like I need audio buttons on the steering wheel to change between miles and kms. Is this right? Wonder how it changed by itself in the first place??? '06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

you car has to be stopped with engine off to do this...
did you just fiddle inadvertantly with the buttons in some way
It is easy to change - but the split display formay is a puzzle - I tried all the possible settings to get what I need & reckoned I "knew" this piece of the Disco puzzle...
Note the speedo is set in kM/s & I dont think can be changed
Discussed ad nausem eleswhere in here (the merits of which units - just dont go there !) BREXIT - done properly.

why it changed, dont know. if you don't have the audio controls then its a trip to the dealer I'm afraid.
BLFarrar, the car just has to be stationary and can be changed, even with the engine running.

No, never fiddled with the buttons or never disconnected the battery or anything like that. Just decided to change suddenly by itself '06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

Because you have an SE model, like mine, the wheel radio buttons do not change display settings, it is a dealer job I'm afraid. Quite strange for the dsitance units to change all of a sudden... '06 Disco 3 TDV6 SE Buckingham Blue
