Triple bunks

Does anyone one on here own a caravan with a triple bunk layout?

I know Bailey did one.

I'm actually after the measurement between the bunks.

Thanks Lee

I've been in one! Estimate 1/3rd of ceiling height for each bunk as they looked all the same size (less mattress thickness of course). Who could be persuaded to sleep in the bottom one though - it is on the floor where the designed draughts are to disperse any gas leaks. my thought was it was for families with two children and multiple dogs.

Top bunk slats to ceiling = 570mm
Middle to top bunk slats = 640mm
Lowest to middle bunk slats = 630mm
Floor to lowest bunks slats = 90mm

Hope this helps Thumbs Up

My Daughter has 3 kids, age 13, 10 and 6 and they all fit in the bunks no problem at all Thumbs Up

We have had a Sterling 636 (triple bunks) for 6 years. No issue with the bottom bunk, in fact the kids used to fight over that one as much as the top bunk. I would’ve imagined it was cold too but that wasn’t a problem. The bunks are fine for sleeping in but not much headroom for sitting up / reading or playing.
Our oldest no longer sees caravanning with the family as a viable pastime so we now use the space for storage. We’ll probably change this year for a fixed bed.

As a follow on from the info gratefully received and the reason behind the measurements.
I've converted the dinning area in van which made a slightly tight double I.e. I'm 6ft 2 and bed made 6ft, so made bunks for kids and me and other half will now have the front, the reason for triple bunk measurement was didn't want to lose top cupboards.

Sorry no before picture
