Had my D3 with the Mantec plate and winch fitted by the stealer, 8 months on I decided to drop the plate to clean out any Muck, well surprise surprise ! I ended up using a 4' scaffold bar to entice the bolts to undo !! Cause of problem stealer had fitted everything without any releasing grease eg, copper slip!!!!! By this time the bolts had become so corroded that I replaced them with new and a smear of copper slip to prevent further problems. I have just fitted the Asfir Gearbox ,transfer box and rear diff guard using the same method so should prevent the same problems there.

If you consider its origins, I think you will need to tempt it out with some freshly opened Desperados beer
If you do succeed in getting it out, I hope you've thought about how it will be stored. I've heard that they are very fragile when not in their native environment and are inclined to disappear into thin air. This problem should be resolved by quickly placing the TT in a freshly opened bottle of Bombay Sapphire, where it will be happy until re-installation time. Beware of leaving it in the bottle too long, however, as it does consume BS at a quite alarming rate. You really need to keep an eye on the level in the bottle and top it up/plac the TT in a new BS bottle as required.
