Been there several times - although always away from anyone and always slow & steady with hand tools.
To date, still got the full compliment of fingers etc....I see no ships........

Had one spring compressor come off a Cavalier Mk1 front spring (about 35 years ago), whilst trying to get the spring out from under the wheel arch! We all survived. Richard

First job after uni was as an electronics engineer for Plessey in Christchurch... all the lads I mixed with were software or systems bods, so I was known as Hardware. Then due to the Bolton accent, that became 'Ardware.
Then as my sideline of fixing mates cars for beers etc. Got me better known, it seemed half the site was calling me by it..
