Guys I'm really sorry to ask this question but I drive a Navara and have been given a V-Top webasto from a land rover, can I retro fit it to my motor? I have been reading this thread and looked at the photos to see if I can find wiring ideas, its been mentioned that one of the plugs has wires for the dosing pump, could you please let me know which colours these are? I do appreciate your help

does it look like the one in this thread?
Is your car diesel?
You will need a £40 jobbie off ebay to covert an electrical signal into a WBUS command to turn it on.
You will then also need a remote or timer to turn it on.

Yes I'm pretty sure thats the same as the one I have here, all the wiring and plugs look the same.
The truck is diesel too yes.
OK so what part am I looking for on the well known site? Also the pump wires are they the yellow/ white and yellow/blue?
I have ordered a remote, I am also looking at a dosing pump, I guess I need one to ensure the heater works whilst the engine is off?
Thanks again

Pump 12V wire is pin 5 of the 8 pin connector, you need to ground the dosing pump's other pin.
WBUS control is done via pin 2 - you probably won't have this wire on your loom (link below to shop for pin)

Thanks Martin,
OK so I drive a Navara (sorry) but was given the V-Top from a friend who had to scrap his Discovery, I have been told on here that I need a £40 jobby from ebay to send a signal to start the webasto on the WBUS from the remote I have fitted, can you tell me what the jobby would be?
Thanks
Mark

Can't find it ATM. I'll try and see if they are forsale later.
They were forsale in Europe somewhere and are blue !
Could be out of season for them!

Hey Pete,
Would this be the little guy I need? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Analog-to-W-bus...%7Ciid%3A1
Hope so anyway as I have just ordered one
Thanks for your helps guys, it is very much appreciated, but do I need anything else now apart from a pump to make this amazing piece of kit work? Do I need the wires that Martin told me about earlier?

Yes that is it
I guess it depends what you are trying to heat. We don't know the nevarda's colling system on here.
But connecting it to the pipes that go to the heater matrix inside seams a sensible way forward as this should heat the matrix and engine
