For the sake of balance, Pete Bell (Bell Auto Services - sponsor) is in the north, and so is Td5 Alive (near Hull) - both rated equally as well as TFC elsewhere on this and other forums. I know Iain would probably travel to you so take your pick.
Thank you Craig for keeping the balance.

Personal preference, really. They all do much the same. Mine is TorqTuned and I'm very happy with it
Thought I said they were all much the same and it was personal preference - sorry for being unbalanced Couldn't really say Bell Auto's is great as I haven't tried it.Disco 5 HSE Lux

hi pal.there is a lot of rubbish out there about more speed and lots more horse power and a big price diffrence as well from company to company.but the truth of the matter is your speed will improve.your horse power will go up from.190 to 220.torque from 440 to 510.and if you are lucky you will get an extra 2 mpg.so to cut a long story short. your car would have pad for the up grade in six months time.on the MPG side alone.so dont let others fool you pal.cheers pugpug.
Thanks everyone, Got things a bit clearer in my head now, will be looking at getting it done sometime in the new year once I've saved some pennies. Will let you know how I get on

People can only recommend on what they know ...surely the balance will only be achieved by equal numbers of torqtune, bellauto's and turbochip customers reporting their findings and giving their recommendations 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Nah! Balance can be readily achieved by the three major suppliers fitting their re-maps into one car for a comparison.
No offence implied/meant, and sorry if some taken. I have no probelm with TFC, I know Non Stick Nick well and he is very happy with the work Iain did on his; I had a Td5Alive tune done on my D2, and I know others are happy with his D3 work, and I know he did/does work closely with Pete Bell. No direct experience of TC so don't know.
For site reasons you should consider TFC or BAS as both site sponsors in the UK, and I know Turbo Chip were/are a sponsor if you can find a local agent.Craig

One key point for consideration before choosing your installer is ....
What happens when/if your LR Dealer overwrites your programme?????
I learned the hard way!
Got my re-mapping done by JE in Coventry, but when making various upgrades, Ripon Land Rover over wrote the programme.
This required a special appointment and trip to Coventry to have it re-installed.
Although this is done by most as a no cost guarantee, it cost me considerabley in my time and travelling costs.
Now in hindsight I would have chosen someone more local or someone who was willing to travel to me to re-install if ever required
As mentioned at start, a key point to consider!
I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Me too but as they say there are other listing magazines available. It's less important which one you get, just as long as U get it done. Makes the car what it should be and U really miss it if it's not there, e.g. in a loaner.
