Turning on cabin fans D3

Hi,

Does anybody know how to enable cabin heating while the car is locked? I have the britpart FBH controller, but want it to heat the cabin. The only thing i can find is danhag unit but thats old and i dont think its compatible with my unit.

Anybody know a diy workaround?

Thanks

I think there was a kit that could be added to the Altox unit but not sure if it can be added to others

Maybe try Bodsy..

With an IPCU with LR programming..

Webasto IPCU can be programmed towards your Landy, the Altox IPCU unit IS programmed to your Landy when supplied… there may be other units…

Me personally doesn’t like to fiddle with NON proven units on my D3
So i choose proven stuff money comes second..

I personally use a Altox at this moment.is more or less Plug&play tbh
In the past i did use the Webasto IPCU on several other motors…

Search here for IPCU and you will find other posts, incl a Webasto manual with schematics in my gallery.. Thumbs Up
 Best regards

Is it worth the money, how warm does the cab get after 30 minutes? Thinking of getting the Altox

The FBH lifts the cold temp. But is nothing like the fitted heater unit will do.
Don't expect a fully warmed car when you get in, it just takes the chill off.
