TYRE PRESSURES MTR

Hi,

does anyone know anything about this? I've had several variations from 30psi front, 32psi rear, up to 34psi all round. At present I've got 32 front and 34 rear, however when I was offroad last weekend, going down a rather steep incline with very deep ruts, I jumped out to have a quick recce underneath, and noticed that the front o/s was really quite contorted on the inner wall and looked almost flat. Albeit it was at a steep angle, it just didn't look very healthy. Once onto flat level ground it regained normal shape. Just a bit unsure what is a good compromise, as I do spend a fair amount of time on motorways, and actually just hit 45,000miles yesterday!

regards Very Happy

Sounds too low, try standard + a couple of psi (works for me) so about 35 front and 38-40 back

I have found that 40 front and 42 rear gives me even tyre wear, any less than this and the tyres wear the outer edges
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

AndrewS,

I've done 10000miles on these so far, and yes, I've noticed a bit more wear on those outer edges which is why I posted this here. I'll adjust them in the mrng. Thanks all for your input! Thumbs Up
