Tyre pressure/wear

Hi folks, took a couple of pics my tyres on the way home from austria this weekend. I checked my tyre pressures on the ferry and put the fronts to 36psi. I upped the rears from 42 to 44 as they looked a little flat. I got great mpg on wayout around 32 real, but not sure the inclement weather Or head wind but only 28-30 on way home. After a dusty gravel track the motorway first stop i noticed the edge of the tyre crown.
This is the front @36psi

This is rear at 44psi, note the defined edge

Would you suggest either or up or down. Was misses me and two year old daugher with luggage for more than a week.

Appreciate thoughts or tips here, regards mikey
