Tyre replacement due soon.
Hi all, will need a set of new tyres soon. I’m looking at Duratracs at the moment, what’s a good all rounder for mainly road use and occasional field/track wandering? Currently got Michelin latitude that are now useless
Thanks,Paul

Based on the advice here I've had ATRs on for almost 2 years. Been very happy with them to date.PAGODA

Lots of good reviews on here.

Hi,
My experience over the past 10+years:
On my D3 and D4 (both 19" wheels) I've had the following in the running order:
D3 - Pirelli Scorpions - factory fitted - great on road - useless in any mud/wet grass ~20k miles
D3 - Pirelli ATRs - great on road - bit better in mud/wet grass when new - ~20k miles
D3 - General Tyre Grabbers - great on road - Good in mud/wet grass when new - sold car at ~110k miles
D4 - Pirelli Scorpions - factory fitted - great on road - useless in any mud/wet grass - a few hundred miles
D4 - GY Duratracs - great on road - great in any mud/wet grass ~ 10k miles in look like brand new.
Duratracs fitted to refurb'd D3 HSE Alloys - Battleship grey - look fab and drive great.
Both the GG and Duratracs last for miles.....
I've heard the GG x3's are good, but not driven on them yet.
Try Boss Tyres or Camskill for supply only and get fitted locally.....
Turn off tyre pressure warnings with the iidtool.
I originally wanted BFGs. but available in 19" wheels.
Cheers
JC
