Yet my 2015 RR Sport isn’t, but by being over 30 years old I can take my 300tdi defender………make sense of that

I've just taken a screen-dump of the web-page showing the D4 to be compliant for when the first fine inevitably arrives!

Thanks. I’ve just checked all sites for my 63 plate D4. Free, or allowed in Scotland, in all except London ULEZ at £12.50 per day.

I look forward to it staying this way as still no plans to part with the best car I’ve owned. Bought new in late 2013, and despite a LR specialist garage offering strong money a year or so back when the belts were done. I just can’t see the gain I’d get shelling out a fortune for a new defender?
D4 XS just sold. The best car I’ve owned. Over 10 years and no problems.

Are you sure about Scotland……Glasgow requires EU6, adblue, was it not MY 2016 when that came out?

Yes - seems what ever system they’re using is incorrect on what they’re choosing that Is allowed in or not.

Just checked a 2006 D3 and that’s compliant for Glasgow.
