underbody protection..?
so, whilst the D3 was up on the ramp earlier being looked at by a nice man... I noticed that the fuel tank guard,
instead of being nice and flat was in fact a bit of a banana shape I know a while back AndrewS did a bit of a mod to it but has anyone else seen or made any sort of reinforcement for this area?
Also noticed that the chassis rails were nicely ...erm polished where it has beeched on occasions, wondered whether
some rail protectors could be fabricated in alloy or something? calling Uncle Ray ! ?? and theeeeennn......???

Should the tank guard be straight then?
I thought it was nicely curved to get better ground clearance.
So maybe if I straighten it I get more mileage from one tank. Roel
