Hi All,
I've heard that the G4's have a one piece plate for underbody protection.
I have searched - but can't find anything about a full underbody protection plate.
Have anybody heard about this? Best Regards
Allan

How is a G4 car different to a normal one?. Can you take a standard car off road? Where do you do this as I would be worried as the car could cost me 15k!!!!

As for the underbody protection on a G4, no, only the Mantec sump plate, everything else is std. Bodsys Brake Bible

Dennis, have a look in the events page and there might be a gathering that suited you. Or look up the closest Land Rover Experience centre to you and they'll take you out and show you a few tricks and tips as a beginner. A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

£40,000 car? You must be crazy!!!! I want a Discovery 3 for our dog (Whippet Cross) an our three children as they have the boot seating. If we were talking about a £500 piece of junk it could go off road, not my cup of Tetley!

Hi Dennis,
Welcome to the forum, if you don't want to take your car off road, then there are plenty of people on here who would let you be a passenger in theirs at an event. I live quite a long way from you but if you ever find yourself down South then let me know and I'll gladly show you some of the green lanes near me. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Thank you for the invite Stu but we do not travel around much, we like Stoke to much! We've never really travelled further than Birmingham really and that was for football reasons. We all live in Stoke and work in Stoke so no real need to go far. We only travel for Holidays in Blackpool, my family and the kids love the Bingo and the Fun fairs.
