Underbody protection compatibility D3/D4

Hi,

I own a D3 with a complete underbody protection but I still have the original plastic protection in my garage.
My idea would be to take it off to put it on my new D4, expected end of march.

Do you know if there are any difference between each car's under side and if my underbody protection will be compatible?

Thanks.

go for devon4x4 package for D4 which includes all you need + you migh get some good tree sliders to complete the package for very hard offroading
cheers

Well I already have that, on my D3.

My question was to know if it can be fitted on my new D4?

Yes there are differences.

The LR OEM sump guards differ between D3 and D4 different front angles, the D4 Gearbox area is also different because from memory we tried a gearbox guard from a D3 and it would not fit because I think the Catalitic converter was bigger.

Best way is try it and sell any bits that don't fit separately - you'll get more for them that way than leaving them on the vehicle.

Thanks. I will follow your advice.

Snorkel seems to be the same. <EDIT> Rock sliders too, it seems.

I looked as N4 stuff (french company) but since D44 looks as one single surface after installation and is cheaper I guess they are the winner
cheers
