Unidentified Steering Noise

Hello,

I've got a 2005 Disco 3 TDV6, HSE, on 135K. On my last few trips out I've noticed wat I can best describe as a wearing (or rubbing) noise when going around bends (both lefthand and right). It's not highly noticable, but it is there and seems steering related. There noting catching the wheels as far as I can see, so I was wondering about the possiblity of it being the serpentine belt / tensioner reaching end of life. Is that a possibilty?

Any other possible causes you can think of?

Thanks, Darren

Nothing to do with the belt, although that doesn’t mean it may not be ready for changing, more likely wheel bearing/s or front diff.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Wheel bearings as suggested.

Thanks to you both. Hadn't thought of that. Will take a look.

Belt almost definitely needs doing too, as it has never been changed in my ownership of the car.

Best wishes, Darren
