Unknown wires in battery box

Just added my Ctek comfort connector to my disco 4, what a palaver!

Anyway, there was one loose wire with a strange connector on the end, plus the wire connected to the live terminal had been taped along it.

Any idea what these wires are?

Many thanks

Battery breather pipe isn’t plugged in if that’s any help Whistle
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I believe, but stand to be corrected, the wire on the positive terminal is for the BMS, the other w pin connector is for the “island valve” fitted to the FBH

Thanks disco Mikey, I wonder why they had to electrical tape the BMS lead?

Island valve? So should get plugged in somewhere?

It’s the connector for the “transit relays” used to reduce battery consumption during the way from the factory to the dealers

So it is, it’s coming from inside the battery box Laughing Embarassed

There is another connector around the FBH for said valve Thumbs Up
