I think this guy was using genuine 20" LR rims, so 53mm offset, but as the tyre was slightly taller being 50 or 55 series, the tyre touched the top suspension arm where it comes over the suspension upright. I thought I'd got an email from him, but must have deleted it.

I like the look of them very much, but what are the thoughts on the size:- 275/55/20? Will they fit or rub
I have a set of 275/50/R20 Continental UHP's on genuine V-spoke S/Charged rims and you could not get any bigger rubber under there. Its not so much the rubbing on the arch its part of the steering and suspension arm that would touch first.Club Exped trailer

I banged out a load of emails but no joy, no one seems to wanna know these tyres, and no value in shipping from the states.
Anyone else try?
I'm gonna get some new 265/70/ MT's for the 17's, if I can find some.
Plenty of mud around here at the mo anyway...so much for the summer!!

Just had communication from Sinton Tyres [the UK importer of Cooper tyres].
Said the Cooper 20" Zeon LTZ's will be available in the UK 1st quarter of 2009.
Will keep you posted.

Cooper might listen if there is enough demand

I'd buy five and pay shipping from USA to here
Seemingly they need EU approval before being imported and sold in UK.
But had the same thought as you by trying to get them from our American [LR3] cousins.

Pretty funky looking thread pattern. The 18's are given down as 285/55R18. Would there be an issue there of rubbing or catching on the top suspension arm with that width of tyre.
Ronp you mentioned the 20's been brought in early next year. does same go for 18's. Dont think my wranglers will last out until first quarter next year though..07 Discovery 3 TDV6 Commercial (Java Black) with:

Yep, same goes for the 18's.
Only mentioned the 20's as there are no AT tyres for this size whilst there are plenty for 18's.
Will keep updating - won't let these B*gger s go!!
