Yep
If you play your cards right and get lucky on ebay you can replace a set of tyres/rims for about £300 and sell used rims for £200 - Voila! 4 x new tyres for £100
The trick is to take the deals on ebay when they become available, not when you need them, as they seemingly never exist then I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Yes absolutely - and of cause there aren't any on ebay at the moment that I could see !
I guess you need to tell your insurer as well that the wheels are non-standard. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

I would'nt you need to tell your insurer to be honest, if they are standard LR rims albeit 17", 18" or 19" why tell them, it is'nt listed on the V5 so they would'nt know.
Its only the BLING alloys you need to tell them because they have'nt been tested to the vehicle specification and for its uses.

Can't beat seven spoke FFRR 19" wheels for on road, look damn good and far smoother ride that 17 or 18"
Easy and cheap to find on Ebay as well, cheaper than a set of tyres only!

What about the RR Sport 19" - states "RRS 19" rims, tyres will be under weight rated and wheel is 1" wider than D3 wheels" - not sure exactly what this statement means ? Are they ok for a D3 or not ?? SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

Rims are OK - Tyres are most likely not I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

What about the weight rating of RRS rims?
Though some weren't sufficient for D3?

RRS rims are weight rated @ 900Kg, D3 at 940kg. 900kg is OK. Quite a few of us are running RRS rims, just fit the correct tyre (in the case of the 19" RRS rims, this means fitting a 255/55x19 111V tyre)
