Thanks for the pic, it is appreciated. Just you mentioned a few times that photos weren't adding to the panel, and I'd got that as being the problem 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

The big issue I have to sort this is the lack of a iOS 8 equipped iPhone, let alone the fact that debugging stuff like this on iOS is a total nightmare.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Due to the fact that I cannot put iOS 8 on anything and roll back to iOS 7 (which I want on my own devices) I cannot fix this, unless someone wants to lend me an iOS 8 device for a few days to allow me to do some testing (fat chance).
Does annoy me so much that Apple break stuff so readily, and refuse to help out developers by offering the flexibility to roll forwards and back to try and sort this.

Martin, can anything be done to fix this, it makes working off an iPhone impossible, this is especially annoying when away camping on holiday or out and about
I know you don't like links to programmes like photobuciet etc on the forum as they consume storage capacity, but it's the only easy way currently Altox GSM FBH controller thread

This still doesn't work... works fine on other sites but just can't get to use the forum and the upload feature - so so very annoying
Is there anything we can do to assist in troubleshooting this Martin to get it fixed?

I'm sure if Martin could fix it he would ...it does the site no favours having uploading issues or lopsided photos all the time 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have now got an iOS 8 device so will be testing this out ASAP. Sorry for the delay but it is ultimately not of my doing, and Apple have developers over a barrel as there is no downgrade device option.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

The photo-upload functions on the forum have been acting up with me for the last few days. Only a small number of photos offer themselves for insertion in the upload panel. Which one(s) varies from day to day. Then there's been the problem with photos refusing to rotate properly. Caught a bug? I only upload from the hard drive of the Windows 8.1 laptop I'm using. If I try to upload more than one at a time the process usually fails. Only my last 3 uploaded photos are showing as I type this. Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

What file size are the pictures you are trying to upload?
I am a stuck record on this, but camera/phone image sizes are really way too big for general online use, and uploading many at a time can cause your browser to get bored as it times out during the upload. Remember upload speed is normally a fraction of your download speed, and photos can be many MB in size.
Resize before upload or upload fewer at a time 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Guilty as charged. It usually gets to displaying "100%!" but then doesn't add them to the album. Does that explain the display issues, too When I read the guidelines it seemed to imply that the only problem with large files was that users with dial-up would struggle. I bet the upload help was written in 2008 or so, however the same relative problem now occurs with very large cam/phone pics and broadband.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
