Hi folks I was on earlier and have tried all but nothing yet so top tailgate switch
Still not working so new switch fitted using spade connectors send still nothing
So ttim removed and there is a grey plug that the numberplate lamps and top tailgate
Go into I have never tested and its 12 5 v all OK there but at the same connectors it says 10 35v
Now we are talking only 4 inches of original wire from the plug to the bew connector.
Could this be the problem?

Got it working folks,
In the end I just bypassed the grey plug and I got 12.5 v and j removed the wire from the grey plug
