Urgent problem: D4, 2016 model gearbox locked

Hello or should it be mayday!

My rotary gearbox knob selector is stuck up and will not rotary so cannot select park.

Has anyone any ideas on to resolve this?

I hope you managed to get this issue sorted, did you go for a repair or replacement?

remove disassemble clean put back together hoping it will work if not I got spare on working order with only issues of no illumination around the knob
can have it for 75 quid

I took it out, sent it to Essex Recons and I had back within 48 hours.
