| Used a scan tool - then error lights came on dash |

First time I've plugged in the icarsoft v2 tool and I selected a quick scan - there were no errors on the dash prior to this. As soon as I did the scan a load of error lights and EDC error showed on the dash along with multiple errors showing on the tool. Is this normal? Restarting the car stopped all the errors showing on the car again. Not quite sure if I'm doing something quite wrong with the tool or not. Thanks.

I found some videos of the tool and it seems it is normal to trigger the errors on the dash when connecting! That was an alarming experience. When I went in to each system and read the codes they all came back with no errors. Phew.
I was actually hoping to find something relating to my AC system which isn't working but it doesn't look like there is any way to read anything from that.
