I couldn't specify a coolbox but found that I did want some way of preparing food, so I made this modification:
Since I wasn't really making much use of the TR, I put the timer under the knob, so for lightly toasted, I set it to snow and ice, but for well-done, it's sand. Kind of appropriate. Oh, bread goes in the upper glovebox, plates & knives in the lower and jam in the door pockets (raspberry O/S, strawberry N/S) ...Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
Lex has even got a front runner toast rack on the roof as well
If only I had a sunroof, then a more powerful spring would allow me to transfer the toast to the rack with one movement. Curse this lowly 'S' spec. and my parsimonious ways!Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
Don't you also miss out on other breakfasting possibilities added to the SE with the fruit juicing option afforded by the powerfold mirrors - "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

works fine for me. It holds 4 of the small stubby water bottles (33cl i think) and cooled them well even during the summer. It depends on the length of time you have it switched on. On long journeys 1hour plus its fine. if you are just tootling around town and doing short 1/2 hr journeys its not so good, but neither is a normal 12v cool box

Thanks, I've tried several small water bottles & they have all been very slightly too tall.
