Utah 2016 - British Motor Club of Utah run to Eureka
Hello All,
I went out for a quick run with the British Motor Club of Utah to a little town call Eureka on Saturday; an old silver mining town. For a local run I'd go in the old Series III V8, but this was a bit further so tagged along in the LR4.
Good fun, but I left the rest of the bunch behind and went exploring, hence the mud
Here are a few pics.
The cafe we went to were selling 'English Fish & Chips' - what do you think?
Main street Eureka - a bit of a one horse town
Local hostelry
Pony express trail.
Here are a few other random shots - near the Salt Lake an up in the mountains near my house.
One last one - sorry!

Definitely not English Fish & Chips!
As for the last photo, we shall just ignore that one Andy

Some very good shots! But what's that white stuff on the ground?
And the miscellaneous-burnt-things-in-something-resembling-batter.....I assume you took the owners out and shot them for misrepresentation?

The petrol ratings seem low. Over here in Oz (I can't remember the UK situation, since it's so long since I drove a petrol car there), premium unleaded is 98 RON, standard is 95, cheapo is 91.
Petrol was below a dollar a litre a couple of weeks ago, about 45p/l. Back up just over a dollar now though.

The Fish & Chips were rather poor as you can imagine.
I must confess, the petrol price was after a discount voucher you get from grocery shopping, so not representative of normal prices. and the 'normal' octane value is 85, which seems a tad low '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

Was on Puerto Rica about 4 weeks ago and gas was typically 46c/ltr (they price in ltrs, Trump'll sort that out!!) so $1.63 a US gal.
