Busy few months for me - here are a bunch of pictures
First is a British Motor Club of Utah run down to a rural town call Price - up over the mountains, a good run out.
Caddy Pickup!
Then a visit to Kirkham's Motorsports who make Cobra replicas - not your average kit car, there are around $200k
Then a local car show.
Check out the Snorkel on this - not sure of the off-road prowess!
Also saw this FFRR - on terrible wheels with Indian sovereign nation number plates - not seen them before.
Bought a Jeep for my daughters. Would have loved to get an early disco but this is a one owner car, sold to my be a mate who is emigrating - it was a great deal I could not turn it down.
I was very excited to see a SEAT on the freeway - they sell them in Mexico, but not in the US.
Fitted a few bits to the LR4.
But found out my rear ladder is a bit of a hindrance
Next was a run out with the BMCU to Evanston Wyoming.
Site of battlements for the Utah - USA war. I understand the only fatality was friendly fire. It's the American way
Pony Express trail again
Quick jaunt up to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Great place - super hot spring baths. Loved it.
Soda Springs on the way home - you can drink the soda water, all i needed was gin and a slice
Then off to Vegas last weekend.
Nellis on Sunday
Car show at work - took the old girl along.
Winner of best of show was a Hellcat - 707hp 8)
Plus i saw the Cure
Busy Busy - and we've not really hit summer yet. Watch this space!'80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!
