V8 Brake pads

Just a quickie, and probably silly one, are V8 front brake pads the same as the TDV6?

Trying to source and can't find confirmation.

Got the squeaky brake and flickering brake pad warning on the V8 that's driving me mad.

TDV6 and v8 use same brake pads.

Just upgraded mine to the v8 setup.

Only differences are the discs and the brake calliper carriers. Everything else stays the same.

Got the pads from Pete Vardy on ebay £37 plus postage .... best price for genuine LR pads I could find

Sorry, the link embedded in the “eBay” in my other post is to Peter Vardy’s ebay shop.

They are the Land Rover dealer in Aberdeen, amd the parts are the Land Rover original brake pads.

Nothing dodgy or unreliable,

Just in case, the full link without embedding it is

You miss the point - the site has sponsors who sell these (Duckworths or Advanced Factors). Discount for forum members.

Thumbs Up

I'm all for supporting sponsors but the last time I looked, Advanced didn't sell genuine LR pads, although they do have a fair selection from other manufacturers, Duckworths were about £30 more than Vardy so it would need to be a fair old discount!
