V8 on lpg

Good evening I have a lovato lpg system on my discovery 3 and I am having a issue with the rpm signal jumping. At the moment the signal wire for the lpg is spliced in to the negative wire on the coil but I have been told this is bad and it should be wired to the rpm signal from the ecu can anyone tell me where I can find this wire and what one it is cheers
