Valve block or Corner leak?

Hi Guys,

Need some help on this ever growing topic...

I've owned my Discovery 3 since May 2017, since that time it has thrown the odd suspension fault which is fixed with a stop and start (probably 2 or 3 over 8 months). It has however always dropped on the front over night.

The past week I have had a 'suspension fault - normal ride height only' every day, and the stop and start hasn't fixed it. Compressor still kicks in and out and it will go up and down normally before the fault shows up.

I put it in off road mode Saturday night and disconnected fuse 26. (have been meant to do this for months!)

Mesurments after lift and disconnecting the fuse:
OSF:34"
OSR:35"
NSR:36" (always thought this corner looked high, measurement confirms so that needs re calibrating)
NSF:34"

The following morning just under 12 hours after the above
OSF:33"
OSR:36"
NSR:35"
NSF:31"

and last night exactly 24 hours after lifting and disconnecting the fuse:
OSF:32"
OSR:36"
NSR:34.5"
NSF:30"

Thoughts?

I was thinking valve block, but seeing as its down on the NSF, I'm now thing shock leak? I think the droopy front is having slight affects on the rear measurements.

So I think i'm either looking at a corner leak, with a possible valve block leak which in turn may have killed the compressor?

Thought it was worth posting. Sorry as I know this has been covered lots before.

Smile

I'd clean and change the seals in the front valve block. £17 off ebay

Car went into local Indy Saturday.

They did a smoke test but couldn't find any leaks. They did mention that the front shocks are very very rusty, but not worth replacement if they aren't leaking.

Hoping on the valve block seals. Failed to pump up this morning so had to turn it on and off a few times. Finally shot up after the third attempt. Will try and find time over the next few days to change the seals. They are in the car waiting for fitting.

Compressor is weak, however i'm hoping it will hold out once the rest is fixed.
