Variable speed fan not working?

Hi,

My heater / air fan is only working either full speed or not at all, not variable at all.

Any ideas? Is this a complete fan unit replacement or a component part?

Thanks,

Ken

Yep, remove battery cover, remove relay\ fuse box cover and locate R18 - its shown on lid cover.

They can be tough to pull out, just wiggle side to side and they do come out. Takes 10mins max inc thinking time Laughing

That's normally the rheostat that's died and only allowing the full 12v passthrough.
