Hello All and Merry Christmas



Got back early yesterday morning from a great trip to Vegas. First run out in my 2011 D4 HSE which I picked up on the Saturday before Christmas. I loved my old LR3 but big bills were looming so it was time for a change.

Loads of snow here Christmas day when we set off - rather sketchy driving for the first 200 miles.



It was good to hit Vegas - cold but waaay warmer than here.









Went to the Heart Attack grill for lunch. Blimey - people have actually died there trying to get through the huge burgers.

Went to see Motley Crue (again) - fantastic gig.

Dinner at Gordon Ramsey pub & Grill - Scotch Eggs are really tough to find here so I was in heaven. Also tried the Irish bar in New York, New York - great bangers & shepards pie Laughing



Went for a drive up to Lake Mead and Valley of Fire Bow down

Went to see Bernie Sanders speak before we set off home overnight.



Bolody cold on the way home - got down to 0F just after i took this pic.



LR4 made the LR3 feel a bit agricultural, I'm loving it so far.

Plans for now are to put on ladder and expo rack but I think I'm going to cut the rack down to the base only.

Light Guards (anyone have any for sale?)

When these tires need changing - and they have a lot of meat on them, I'll move to something a bit more chunky and add a lift.

Anyway - all the best for 2016! '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!
