Vehicle leans toward passenger side.

I've have a 2006 LR3 SE and I've noticed a slight lean toward the passenger side when viewing the vehicle from the front or rear. The difference is exactly 1/2" from left to right as measured at the wheel arches both front and rear.

I recently had the passenger front wheel height sensor replaced as it had failed (amber suspension warning light). The dealer replaced it with one from a lease return 2005 LR3 as it would have taken a week or longer to get the part and I am over 90 miles away from the dealer and needed the vehicle.

Could it be the replacement sensor that is causing the lean? Is there any difference between the sensors on a 2005 versus a 2006? Isn't the system design to self level? Any advice would be appreciated.

HMM Mine has always done that. Confused I just assumed that it was conforming to the terrain.

System is designed to self - level, when a height sensor is replaced (and they're all the same) the system needs to be calibrated. There is also a software upgrade to self - level more frequently on closing of the vehicle doors, this is due to something known as the 'texan effect' where the passenger side of the vehicle appears lower after exiting the vehicle due to the load imposed on the driver side of the vehicle by the body mass of the driver, once the driver leaves the vehicle, the load on the suspension decreases and that side of the vehicle raises above 'normal' height.....
so, you can either:-
Get your dealer to look at TSB LTB00015v2 - Air supsension not level when parked (on the main RoW site, not NAS)
-or-
go on a diet and stop 'super-sizing' at Mc-D's or Burger King Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

As a fully fledged pillow smuggler myself, I get a dis-approving Tsssssk from the air suspension every time I get out. After I lock the doors however it usually levels itself OK. Funny how it doesn't mind self leveling with the doors open, yet won't raise/lower manually unless all the doors are shut.

Transgenic tomato anyone?
