Interesting that the 'modified vehicle' report suggests that they would consider blueprinting an engine as a modification.

I would love to follow that with a Laughing but really, the stupidity is more Big Cry

Not read it all but a couple of things stood out in the "what counts as a modification list"

Refrigeration

Galvanised Chassis


Really ? on the 2nd one ... would waxoyling be considered a mod ??? it's makers suggest it has the same degree of protection.
 .

Galv chassis on a Defender is usually pretty obvious for the first few years - most people don't bother painting them, and if they do it still doesn't usually look 'stock'. It also makes it much more attractive to resell either as a complete vehicle or as parts. So in this case I think they have a valid point that it increases the theft risk.
