Hiya hope ur all keeping fit and well
So after nearly 6 x months I’ve got the D3 all back together and up and running , BUT
The original issue is still there ref bank 1 N/A
I checked every wire to and from the ECM to the turbo actuator , Map, Maf
Replaced turbo hoses and clips
Replaced turbo air inlet pipe
New Map
Cleaned Maf
Checked as much as I could in the engine loom, replacing deteriorating conduit
Plus now the suspensions compressor won’t start , but seeing the D3 hasn’t been started for 6 x months I suspect it’s seized , reason is the motor is at 27c , it’s a dunlop and pretty sure it’s around 4 x years old
Hopefully I’ll be able to one way or another get underneath , disconnect the compressors 12 V connector and put an external 12Vdc onto it to see if it will run
However I don’t mind admitting am a little frustrated after the extensive work I’ve done I still have this bank 1 N/A
Wondering if I should put it into a garage but petrified of the cost
Here’s a few details regarding fault codes and live data , both codes will clear and pop back up as soon as I press the raise or lower button
Also forgot to say am pleased with the engine sound insulation , does make it quieter
So at the end of the day feel the compressor is the least of my problems, if the compressor is duff I will see if I can get an AMK kit
Many thks as always for ur time reading this , just scratching my head abit with regards to the original error
Once im able to get the suspension fixed I’ll then see what it’s like down the road for a test drive

Very sorry to hear this.
I would have a fiddle with the compressor relay or bypass it, before getting under the car

Same as Pete says, remove relay and jumper the two big slots, compressor should run. Make sure ign is in position 2. Check the 70 amp fuse near relay as well.

So on checking my car.
Boost pressure actuator Bank 1 also shows N/A
It’s probably a value for later cars. Or a gap iid problem.
But I don’t think it’s a problem with your car

Bless u and can’t thk u enough , that’s a great idea ref the relay as to be honest didn’t think of that
@pete , that’s awesome , thk u so much for checking and a great call , must confess the engine sounds different , as in smoother on tickover and quieter , but think that’s due to the engine cover sound insulation , plus resolving all the intercooler leaks
I’ll definitely link out the relay so can at least try and get it to normal ride height for a test drive , fingers crossed all the hard work will pay off where the vibration has gone over 55mph
Plus wonder if the bank 1 is for vehicles after 2007 ?
Can’t say enough how grateful I am and will of course update once I get the suspension sorted

I was wondering if it was for the D4 3.0 twin turbo. But I don't know

Hi Pete
Funny enough, @prof g kindly sent me live data from his 2009 D3 , showing the bank 1 data
So was wondering would it be possible please if anyone else would be so kind to check if the bank 1 data is there plse , as I thought then if we could get some from 2006-07-08 we will know for sure what year it’s relevant to , then if someone else has issues can advise accordingly
Million thks once again , hopefully I’ll be able to check fuse and link the suspension relay soon as I can
As a ref this was the data Den kindly sent me

Dam my memory , , as I knew there was something else , the bonnet struts have failed so just got to get a pair
Seen some from SGS , so works out around £50 for a pair , just wondered if anyone else has tried them or is there better alternatives plse

No problem
75% with engine off.
57% at idle (and moving about by 1% ish)
Then at shut down it cycles through loads of values. I guess this is the turbo actuator

Hiya
Of course I didn’t mind as that’s awesome thk u so much
Often wondered if it would be worth doing a thread with all the different data readings from the engine, air con , suspension etc so we all had a comparison chart to go by
If there is any interest I’ll sit down and write everything down and compile all the data into a single thread
Just moved my last screen shot down to make life easier next to ur chart
Thank you so much once again

Thks so much and very grateful
As always brilliant idea as I’ll double check that as I turn the engine off etc , plus will be a great way of checking the % range as it cycles through with the anti seize program , then if they change out of these parameters assume it would indicate the vanes sticking by not fully opening closing
after I get the suspension sorted will see if I can get the live data around 3,000 revs to which I assume the vanes should then be fully open
Think I read the VGT vanes has a range governed by the actuator of 60%
Thks again Pete and yeh i know I need to get out more

Hope u don’t mind me asking , but Is there anyone with a 2007 onwards D3 that would be so kind to check there Bank 1 live data please , really curious what year instead of N/A on the bank 1 it shows data
Plus really hope this will then in turn help others in the future if this data question comes up again
