Victorian High country...
Took a drive up into the Victorian "High Country" - along the "Dargo - High Plains Road"...
we met some "locals" along the road...

Nice pics - been watching a few videos in oz of the off roading you guys get to do. Makes me think about emigrating or at least planning a long stay to get some trips in.D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.

I'm also very glad to see some cattle up in the High Country ... my wife and I awoke many years ago (in our VW campervan) and found ourselves surrounded by some of these lovely gentle giants... they were looking for anything salty... we spoke to the drovers that we met later that day and they said they had been putting "salt-licks" out in that area and the cattle obviously saw our vehicle and thought "salt"... had to shoo them away from the van so we could cook our breakfast in peace !!!!
I should wash my car...
it just sits there in the driveway looking sad & dusty...
however the view beckons and I think I'll get myself a nice cup of tea and think about it ...
