View wireless camera...on android tablet?

Hi all,

Have just finished wiring in a 'wireless' reversing camera which displays a small screen on the rear view mirror when reverse is selected, which works a treat, and am very happy with it.

The Mrs has now said that she'd like one, but to keep an eye on her horses when she's towing them about the country.... I'm about to finish sticking in a Lenovo tablet as a replacement for my satnav which im just waiting for the bezel to arrive for and then will be all finished, but here's the question:

Is there any way that I can stick a camera in the horse box (when it's attached to towbar etc) that will can display an image on my tablet, so the Mrs can keep an eye on the horses?

I can't believe in this day and age there isn't a wireless camera that comes with an app that can be viewed?

Anyone done this already? Would be really keen to hear results if anyone has.

Cheers!!

Rob.

Philm- orrrrr, perhaps they might be travelling with a passenger?

Top work for the superbly unhelpful post though.

It’s of no direct help but I fitted a non wireless camera into our horse box. Powered through the towing socket and feeds back through a video cable which has plug and socket to enable the trailer to be separated. It runs through a GVIF and the image can be shown on the sat nav screen. Very useful and reassuring to keep an eye on the horses whilst travelling.

As for being like watching TV, a horse just standing there is hardly compulsive viewing, just requires the occasional glance.
