Good morning all I am doing a bit of a project for some one on there discovery and I need to fit a momentary switch. Having spoken with them they have decided that as the voice control is crap to cut the wires on that switch and use it. Can anyone please tell me the colour wires that come of the switch and where they run down to cheers

Cheers what I was thinking is if I follow the wire from the switch to the clock spring then cut it just after the clock spring I can run the wire from the siren unit to the switch. So when you pull the switch it will complete the circuit and change the tone

If u really want to use that button you need to loose the switch illumination from the steering wheel and then use that wire to connect in at both ends
And a lot of messing around on the steering wheel button to disconnect it.
