Those tires she had on Goodyears I think! Barely any tread left on them... She really didn't have a clue did she?
She just revved the engine like mad!! She may be ace at the 'ring but needs a bit of tuition off road!

Actually they both agreed that the tires let the D3 down. They even said it was on summer tires for motorway driving if my german didn't let me down. Someone who actually can understand german can confirm this?My mini defender (work in progress)

I thought they may have been discussing the dubious tires when the camera was zooming in on them. But don't speak any German....
Must say the little VW was pretty impressive

The comparison is bollards TBH ....that Hitlermobile weighs about the same a bathtub I spent a year off-road with road tyres and I don't personally think that they were so much the issue in this case ...rather than her inappropriate driving 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Let's keep in mind the disparity of weight. VW maybe 1500 lbs (wet) D3 6000, that alone is a huge factor.
Kind of a cool little comparison but the results were not that surprising."The Apocalypse!" Coming Soon, to a town near you!

The comparison was meant to see how a old school (low tech) offroader performed vs a (modern) hightech offroader. My mini defender (work in progress)

Well I thought the little VW was quite impressive for what it is.
And no matter what she was wearing, Sabine is hot.
