Finally coming back into the fold!
Had a 300TDI 3 door in '95 and then a 5 door in '97. When the Company Car tax got silly had to change to estate cars........
Finally got fed up with the tax on a '07 2.7 Audi A6, so persuaded the boss to let me have a Commercial D4!
Have sold the A6 and am driving an old (130K!) GT TDI Golf until the Disco arrives!
New Commercial D4 SDV6 on order for delivery in June (fingers crossed!)
Baltic Blue
Commercial Convenience Pack
Cold Climate Pack
Manual Cruse Control
Leather Seats
Premium Nav with Hi ICE Audio
Adaptive Xenons
Rear View Camera
High Beam Assist
Powerfold Mirrors
Half Length Roof Rails
QR Tow Pack
Commercial Exterior Pack
19" Split Spoke Alloys
Full Size Spare
Will have Atlantec Folding Seats (in Leather) fitted on arrival.....

Very nice spec and a good colour choice. I sort of wish I went for it myself. The wait is proving painful.

Excellent spec - you'll be as chuffed as anything when it arrives!
Of course, saving on the tax helps - I went from a 2.0L Audi to the Commercial (not sure on CO2 for your 2.7) and saved around £300 per month... D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY
D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)
D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)
Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Hi all, i've been lurking here for a while but this is my 1st post! Ordered a very similar spec commercial D4 at the start of April. Only major difference being that mine will be white.
Estimated build date of July 11th and then has to go for the commercial conversion after which i'm told takes 2 weeks so looking at late July.
Just curious to know how come you are able to have a June delivery date, on a roughly same spec vehicle and presumably ordered after me? This wait is killing me!

Had an update from the dealer today. Vehicle now at Special Vehicles - I should see it at the end of next week.
Then it is off to Atlantechs for some seats.

Cracking news...
When are you picking it up... just a little warning that the A43 will be chaos on Friday (and over the weekend) as they will have the one way system in operation for Silverstone for the Grand prix... effectively the A43 becomes a 'no through road' for three days!
Let's see photos when it's done... D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY
D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)

Thanks for the heads up about the A43 - I am picking up on Friday - a little cross country to the M40 I think!

If you are on the M40 anyway, it might be worth running up to J11, then picking up the A361 towards Daventry, then down the A45 into Weedon.
The alternative would be to come off at J10, head to Brackley and then through the villages from there... but it is through the lanes and back doubles... D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY

Manual Cruise Control? Never heard that one before Does the 'manual' part mean pushing the activation button?
I wish I could have a car like that for business, please share photos post arrival
