Excellent forum - congratulations to those who set it up and manage it - been watching items as guest for some months now but have joined tonight because I have a question.
First some background -
Bought first D3 Jan '06 (Cairns Blue, 7 seater, ebony cloth interior) - wonderful vehicle, very practical with clobber and kids, great for frequent long journeys to South of France. Last month decided to get another one. 3 reasons - 45,000+ miles on existing car - Warranty runs out Jan '09 - Like the look of NEW PAINTED BUMPERS + ARCHES.
So have ended up with a Black SE - excellent deal - too good to say no to (might have had something to do with the fact that I bought a Vogue SE TDV8 RR for my wife at the same time) but strangely the dealership couldn't do enough for me - the only trouble is the Black SE had to be the old 08MY to qualify for the discount and the 0% finance, apparently. Took it to the local bodyshop - bloke said "can't paint those bits mate - they're all nobbly - it'll look like sh*te compared to the rest of the body"
So my question is -
How do I get this shiny black new D3 (registered 30 September) to look like the '09MY it should be. Is there some enterprising bright young spark out there who has put together a package of shiny body parts, at a respectable price, to satisfy what I'm sure will become a popular mod. for old farts like me who want their vehicles to look up to date - or have I to go back to the dealership, buy all the bits from them and thereby hand them back their discount.
Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome

Welcome to the site 
I had all my bits colour coded ...any reasonable body shop can do this .
They just rubbed down the rough bits ...all smooth on mine G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

As wiggs says...Any GOOD bodyshop would be able to make this happen...Obviously your bodyshop has far too much work on in this current climate to be arsed to do it
You can buy the trims from LR already primed ready for painting but thats an expensive way to do it
You can buy all the rches in a kit already painted PM me for a price

New RR & a New D3 in one hit  - someone's robbed a bank!! 
Welcome M8 - had a look at doing this myself using a small bodyshop here in the valleys,no problem to paint the existing ones and get a shiney gloss finish. 8)
Sounds like someone is bulling you big time .
Hope you get it sorted

Might be worth checking if Slimer has any - he can normally sort the plastic stuff at great prices
I had a new bumper form him and some new Xenons for less than Half the price of the headlamps from LandRover.
He also can sometimes get them pre painted - have a look at http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic22847.html
