Wanted: 19" Pirelli Scorpion tyre

Due to a puncture in the sidewall Evil or Very Mad I now need a new tyre. Been quoted from £150 to 230, one tyre dealer even said that as the vehicle was a constant 4x4 I needed to replace all 4 tyres Shocked Rolling with laughter . Whats the cheapest people have paid for one of these tyres? or anyone swapping to MTR's have a pirelli tyre with decent tread that they are willing to sell?

£150 sounds quite good - especially if that is a "fitted" price. If so, any chance you could share their contact details? Around £185 fitted is the best i've found.

I got a price of £145 fitted for the 18in variant of the scorpion zero at Selecta Tyre. Locations across Derbyshire.

Obviously, I did this before we got a tyre-selling site sponsor... Have you tried 4Site?

Thanks for all your replies.

BCB not tried 4Site yet forgot about them, will give them a ring tomorrow.

Trying another route at the moment, even though the punctured tyre is scrap there is a tread wear problem - 5mm on the outside to 2mm on the inside, the other front wheel is not as bad but has worn unevenly too. My car did have a geometry problem that was corrected at 5k miles (now done just under 9k), been to my dealers and they have booked the car in to have the geometry checked (this Wednesday)and are going to contact LR about possible compensation - I have spoke to customer services and they said that if my dealer confirms what I have said they will probably look into contributing towards the cost of new front tyres. Fingers crossed.

Just had a phone call from my dealers, they have ordered two new front tyres and have arranged to fit them tomorrow afternoon. No cost to me at all Very Happy Brilliant especially as one of them had been punctured and was not repairable.

Thumbs Up to Gordon Lamb Land Rover

On the XC90 I believe you are supposed to replace all 4, I thought on the D3 it was the wheels on the same axle if there is a big wear difference. Of course I could be talking a load of Censored

You could always go for these and have a spare set of rims too.
