[Wanted] In-Car Laptop Mount for MacBook Pro

Just got 50% off the Land 8 Premium (https://www.twonav.com/en/software/land) software for MacOS so am now looking for a way to mount the laptop in the car.

I know RAM used to do mounts for D4/LR4 but I can't seem to find them on their site now.

So, does anyone have a suitable mount for sale or can they point in the right direction for one?

Spill the beans, Ray. What is it, how long to fabricate/manufacture and what am I attaching it to?

I did find the UK site for RAM: https://www.ram-mount.co.uk/tough-tray-uni...ab=Basekit

RAM Mount gear holding up my ipad, invaluable. All attached at the base by one of Uncle Ray's balls.

Many thanks, Ken/Del. Assuming Ray can help me out with his ball socket, can you point me in the right direction for the required RAM gear to get me from the ball to the laptop mount?

Just installed one of Ray's balls. A quick job, excellent fit of course. Need to get the Dremel out to tweek the plastic cover though.

Just waiting for the RAM mounts now.

Which RAM mount and attachments did you go for? Just for the sake of the thread? Be interesting to see what you used.

1 x RAM-234-3FL RAM UNIVERSAL LAPTOP TOUGH TRAY FLAT ARM
1 x RAM-202U RAM 2-1/2" DIA. BASE

I expect it to be pretty much like Del's, but with a laptop holder. Will post a pic when it arrives and is fitted.

Looks about right, Ray. Except the laptop tray I ordered has flat, not angled, arms.
