[Wanted] Disco 3 Dog Guard - Gloucester / Bristol |
|
Just rehomed a gorgeous 9 year old cocker spaniel named Snoopy.
He's not a fan of staying in the boot and likes to climb over!
Looking for a dog guard close to home so that I can pick it up.
Otherwise any recommendations would be great.

Get a cage, it will make him much safer in the car. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

if you are going with a guard I can recommend the Traval one - £110 delivered on Amazon, no mods to car at all, fits well and secure Pete

I'll certainly take a look at some crate options. Safer due to size and, as such, less room to move if something goes wrong?

These certainly look reasonable for what seems to be quality.
Going to look at options for crates Vs guards.
Interested to know thoughts and opinions on both from people who have used both!

Safer as the dog is contained in an accident, not dumped out on a motorway for instance. If the dog isn't very well trained then it is easier to grab it out of a cage than it fly out of the back of a Disco and if you were to roll the dog has more protection, especially if there is other stuff in the boot.
