Wanted. Good manual gear linkage for Discovery 3. Mine seems to have wear in the ball at the base of the lever.

Have you checked the spring and detent clip to make sure that is ok.

Flack,
It selects gears fine but just has a lot of side-ways slop on the lever. From what I have read, if the spring and clip have come loose you have trouble selecting gears.
