Discovery 4 3ltr 8 speed Commercial with a maximum budget of up to £20k. or a D4 in need of an engine or work
looking for a replacment discovery 4 ideally a commercial to replace mine that died today following an accident
The must have list:
8 speed Auto Gearbox
Black interior
Ideally not more than 120k miles unless priced accordingly
Ideally grey in colour,
Been looked after - not looking for a workhorse, but a nice place to be.
Not been smoked in
Diesel engine
not afraid of one that needs work or a replacement engine.
Happy to travel as required.

Not another commercial d4 your looking for again you dont get much luck with them.. 
Whats happend to yours will they repair it ,or write it off

Mine needs a tail gate and glass and a rear quarter, in reality you would only fit the rear pillar of the quarter the rest is fine, its hit high up and just caught the rear tail gate and so broke the glass.
insurance quotes vary between £6-9k.
Rear quarter is £890
tail gate and glass is around £1k with the bits and bobs or about £200 complete second hand.
so will see what the insurance want to do, its a simple repair, but the quotes are why we all pay fortunes for insurance...

I would have thought it would be a cheap buy back and easy repair with 2nd hand bits and owe you nothing for how ever long you drove or kept it ....
keep the pay out in the bank
