Yeah, seen it was a bit pricey online, well not to bad for a LR sensor! Hence throwing it out there in case anyone had one sat doing nothing they wanted to offload.
Given I'm not 100% sure the sensor itself is the issue other than the fault code, I though I'd pick one up off the auction site from a breaker but nothing. I'll give GOS a call & see if they are breaking a D4 at present.
Alternatively I could get the dealer to look at it under extended warranty, but it doesn't look as though many have had success following this route & I have bigger fish to fry with the dealer resolving my droning dif / transmission

did changing the sensor clear the fault. i have the same fault but it does not seem to affect anything
